Batman Begins or Batman vs Superman?

This is one I'm really curious about why it still hasn’t been made, these two are the first takes on Batfleck and Baleman, Which one do you prefer?

I personally like both films but Begins wins by a very large margin. The villain, plot, pacing and cinematography is far better and Ra's/Scarecrow's duo is perfect for an origin story. I think Batman's characterization is quite great and Bale's performance is the best here.

It's 3rd in my CBM rankings.

I did enjoy BvS and I look forward to rewatch it with the Ultimate Edition, and I think it's underrated enough to justify this thread. The action, soundtrack, Batfleck and cinematography were solid, Cavill's performance was ok (due to the script) and there are a few issues anyways.

I know but BvS vs Civil War was made anyways I think that BB is better by far but I kinda enjoyed BvS. I bought the disc and watched with low expectations and my score is quite high atm. I'll rewatch it soon and while my opinion has gone a bit down, I think that MoS is overall a good movie.

BvS for me. I absolutely adore Begins and it's a brilliant Batman film, but I am more 'emotionally' engaged with BvS because I am a bigger Superman fan and just get 'more' from it.

hahahahah, I mean this is obvious. Batman Begins, and it's no competition. One reinvented the genre, and is brilliantly and intelligently crafted while the other one is a lame joke. BVS has no right to be mentioned in even the same breath as Batman Begins.

I liked Watchmen and MoS a lot! If MoS is on tv I will always stop and watch some of it

Also that said I am curious to see how his version of JL turns out. That still doesn’t change my opinion of BvS.

I need to re-watch BvS but first time it was quite good especially when i had 0 expectations and i really liked MoS.

It’s fantastic you enjoyed it and I am happy it has the legion of huge fans it has. I just couldn’t connect to it. I think for me it brought out some of his more annoying tendencies as a director and Fong’s work is dull compared to Aamir Mokri’s absolutely masterful work on MoS

Well I can't say I'm surprised by this landslide victory by Begins, because honestly its just a superior film all around. The theatrical cut of BvS alone is a huge mess and even though I do like the Ultimate Edition more even at its best it still comes nowhere close to Batman Begins as far as overall quality goes.
