Yeah, BB has some flaws, but I was still able to enjoy it.

Superman Returns, on the other hand, was so horribly flawed I wanted to forget I ever saw it.

The acting was fine (Excluding Kate Bosworth), the special effects good, but the script was trash. Everything about the film was so bland and tedious. Arghhhh!

I'd write up a full review and post it in your thread, but I think there'd be angry fans burning crosses on my yard.

I'm with you in spirit.

Superman Returns just made me want to see the thing in which it parodies, Donner's Superman :(

You know, that's another reason why I didn't like Superman Returns; it relied too much on the Donner movies. (Developing characters?! Bah, they did that during parts one and two already!)

Batman Begins. It had a lot more character than Superman Returns. Bruce Wayne had inner comflict and underwent a lot of change in the course of the movie. Clark Kent was a static character that never really seemed relateable.

Singer at least respects his heroes secret identity. Seems every Batman director feels obligated to let every broad in on Bruce's secret.

Yeah, thats bugs the hell out of me too. Its not just Batman, though. Superman Returns is the only comic movie that comes to mind where the hero's identity stays secret. I preferred Batman Begins, but I gotta give a lot of credit to SR for keeping Clark's ID secret.

Absolutley LOVED them both, but Batman Begins is better.
