BB was great movie and excellent comic book adaptation.

But I still love BB. Both of them are great movies and BOTH are not flawless. They have their flaws. I just felt that SR was a much more emotional movie. And Kevin Spacey did it for me. SR felt epic.

Tough one to call - I voted Batman Begins simply because it's my favorite character. SR was a quality film though, and ranks in the Top 4 comic book films ever done IMO..........

By the way Immortal, Spider-man 2 was also a chick flick by your definition of using SR as one.

I vote Batman Begins btw, but it's pretty damn close. They were both amazing films, but Batman Begins is my all-time favorite movie.

I like the character of Superman more, but Batman Begins is a better film than Superman Returns. Batman doesn't discover he has a child which will now become a plot device in every successive film.

Furthermore, they did a relaunch of Batman which is what they should have done with Superman, IMO.

I have my problems with Batman Begins, it's a solid movie but I rank Batman '89 over it. Superman Returns is far from solid, and it isn't even new or original, just merely a rehash of the 1970s version, in essense all the characters in the movies became charictures of the 70s counter-part and because of it lacked any heart at all. Not only that hte plot was garbage, the huge super-villian plan was so ridiculous it didn't even fit into that fun-hokey crazy villian plan. The ending is like 20 minutes too long and lacks any punch what so ever. But I digress because the mindless masses here love it and they'll try to chew me out with their baby teeth.
