Batman Begins Vs. Iron Man

Don't think I've seen this one before, at least in my time here.

Both are often regarded as the best origin story movies respective their companies and came out close to each other. Which genius billionaire playboy philanthropist will come out on top?

Loved Batman Begins, despite its flaws, but Iron Man is just in a class above almost every other chm - certainly whey other solo origin chm - only Dr Strange comes close.

BB and its not even close. BB is a great origin story and is like my 3erd favorite CBM of all time. Iron man on the other hand is one of the most overratied CBM of all time not even a top like 20 CBM.

It's a tough choice. Begins is the best Nolan Batman movie imo, but I think I'm still going Iron Man due to RDJ's iconic performance.

Begins is my favorite entry in TDKT, but I have to go with Iron Man here. The Yinsen-Stark relationship is one of the all time CBM greats, and beats out Al Ghul-Wayne.

Well, perhaps, this isn't as difficult as I thought it would be as I read the title.

Iron Man, through and through, is much more of a fun and enjoyable film.
Everything that Batman Begins does, Iron Man does twice as good. I also feel
like Iron Man has many more triumphant moments than Batman Begins does.

I have to go with Iron Man. Sorry Batman Begins.

Batman Begins. It's the definitive Batman origin film. Nolan even pulled off a two-villain scheme and it worked beautifully.

Iron Man is a fine film, but the climax does leave a bit to be desired.

While Begins still looks great, portions of Iron Man don't look as good ten years later.

Iron Man is one of my all-time favorite movies. It has some of the best pacing I've ever seen in a film, not a single scene drags or feels wasted. It's anchored in a legendary performance and got me interested in a character I otherwise have completely ignored. The fact that fifteen films have followed it and there's still a strong argument to be made that it's better than any of them is seriously impressive.

I love Begins, but it's my least favorite of the Nolan trilogy, and is brought down by shakycam action sequences and a script full of clunky Goyer dialogue.

Begins hit the jackpot on every level, cinematography, set design, acting, score, script. It's the definitive Batman movie.

Iron Man is a very good movie, though.

this is tough one.because while in later films i have been burned out on stark first iron man remains a good film.and batman begins also good.

I have to go with Iron Man. RDJ had such an iconic performance as Tony Stark that even changed the comics, and it's just a very well paced and enjoyable ride with that character.

Batman Begins is good competition though, and the best Batman film there is.
