I am thinking Hammer, because I want to like him. I just...can't bring myself to. I don't like how he acts in real life...he's too close to the yuppie *****e he plays in Social Network for me, and too pretentious acting. That said, Joe Manganiello is a much bigger *****e (but in that meathead way), so I dislike him more.

It says something even more about society when people can't have a simple discussion about how a character is supposed to look and be depicted without these discussions being blown out of proportion and taken out of context to the point where everyone is labeled a racist.

Bruce Wayne actually is important. Hammer comes off as a wimp to me, or whiny. Different kind of "yuppie" than what Wayne might be if you get what I mean. I'm not sure how else to describe it right now.

Race convos are always trouble.

They shouldn't be. The major characters should stay the same race, I firmly stand by that. There is no reason to change the race of any of the major DC characters.

I'm fine with minor characters like Perry White having their race changed but other than that...I don't have much interest in it. UNLESS that actor is absolutely perfect for the role, and happens to be of a different race.

Yeah, he was serious and a big deal. He was natural.

Hammer just thinks he's important and comes off to me like a little snot. He has no humility in his voice.

BUT, I can at least say one GOOD thing about Hammer: he for some reason reminds me of Brendan Fraser just a little bit in like an odd way. Haven't quite put my finger on it yet.

I'm all out of ideas for now on who to cast. :-/

Well, I want someone who can act, but can also fit the physicality of Batman. If Goode were to be cast, I would be utterly worried that he wouldn't bulk up for the role and we'd end up with the muscle suit.

Since there pretty much aren't any suggestions left to make, here's what I think will happen. I seriously doubt that they're gonna cast an older 40+ actor. I know everyone's convinced that that's gonna happen, but I really don't think so. Warner Bros. is gonna want someone they can carry through the Justice League and then future Batman movies. People are always like "They might only use him for World's Finest and Justice League. What makes you think they're gonna make more Batman movies after Justice League?" Because it's ****ing Batman. Why wouldn't they keep that going? I don't believe that they'll have one actor play Batman in Man of Steel 2 and Justice League and then recast him again for new Batman movies just because... nothing. Just because Zack used a Dark Knight Returns quote at Comic Con doesn't mean we're gonna have some weird older mentor Batman / younger Superman relationship because that's just ridiculous. WB wants a hot young actor with some indie movie / awards credibility that will make young women create fanfics and fanart about Batman and Superman ****ing to put on their Tumblr pages.

Having said all that, here's the choices I can realistically see happen:

Jake Gyllenhaal (still my number one choice)

Ryan Gosling (although he might not want to be in a long-term franchise like this)

Wes Bentley (he feels like the least likely of the three, but a boy can dream)

Joe's got a *****ey look to him, but honestly he seems like an alright guy in interviews and stuff. Still though, keep him the hell away from Batman.

I'm still behind Brolin, even over Hamm just because I think a wildcard type of pick could be just what the doctor ordered this time and something about Hamm just isn't "clicking" with me. I'd still be happy if Hamm got the role though, don't get me wrong because I know he's a good actor.

It's really hard to judge Manganiello. True Blood writing for his character is crap; he doesn't have much depth. People complain about the long hair and bearded look, but he plays a freaking werewolf on TB. What the heck is suppose to look like? Not really fair to base it off that.
