yeah....i can see it :woot:

I believe him to be a strong contender. That is of course he's auditioned.

i stil think its possible that Snyder will go for either someone we have not thought of or someone we have aready dismissed .

If it's someone we've already dismissed, then the pick has been ****

Brolin could get it, but I am not sold on him yet .

Josh Brolin is 45 but looks more like a 48 year old. (IMO.)

The age difference between him and Cavill is a lot more noticeable, plus Josh Brolin's ex-wife (Diane Lane) plays Martha Kent, which would be awkward, and the fact that she is not on nice terms with Josh brolin.

I find Brolin to be boring actor.

Armitage and Cavill.

I agree. Plus, the thing Armitage has over many over the other names out there is that he looks similar to Cavill, and that's a big plus when it comes to Batman and Superman. Bruce and Clark have always favored each other, just with Clark/Superman being more clean cut and Bruce having a bit more of a, not aged but, "experienced" look. Like hes seen alot.

The suggestion of Wes Bentley has me intrigued. He has the look and displayed that certain brooding quality in American Beauty, but I haven't seen him in much of anything since then. Has he maintained or improved his craft since then?

My new fav choices.
Hamm, Mount, thomas jane, gosling, fassbender, urban, and brolin.
I must say, for me, Jane would be the perfect older Bats/bruce.

Eh..... maintained.

He's had a few misses, but from what I've seen, he still performs as well as he can with what he's given.

I still think he'd make a great choice.

My top choices:

Older Batman: Armitage, Mount, Brolin/Hamm

Younger: Gosling/Bentley, Gyllenhaal
I have no doubt gyllenhaal could pull it off, but i'm not sold on him..that said, if he is cast they obviously see bats in him, so I wouldnt throw a hissy.

Older Batman: Richard Armitage, Jim Caviezel, Christian Bale.

Batman in 30's: Wes Bentley, Luke Evans, Jake Gyllenhaal, Anson Mount.

In terms of acting ability, Brolin wipes the floor with Armitage IMO.

Armitage is a great choice.

Ive been looking at some scenes and interviews and I must say I'm warming up to him as well.....so many good choices!....which one will it be?!....this wait is killing me.....I know I'm gonna be pissed if all these suggestions don't pan out and Bale ends up coming back lol
