Jude Law?i stil think its possible thatSnyder will go for either someone we have not thought of or someone we have aready dismissed .
Chris Pratt would have been good but as usual Marvel bagged him first.
Josh Brolin is 45 but looks more like a 48 year old. (IMO.)
The age difference between him and Cavill is a lot more noticeable, plus Josh Brolin's ex-wife (Diane Lane) plays Martha Kent, which would be awkward, and the fact that she is not on nice terms with Josh brolin.
I find Brolin to be boring actor.
Armitage and Cavill.

The suggestion of Wes Bentley has me intrigued. He has the look and displayed that certain brooding quality in American Beauty, but I haven't seen him in much of anything since then. Has he maintained or improved his craft since then?
My new fav choices.
Hamm, Mounts, thomas jane, gosling, fassbender, urban, and brolin.
I have no doubt gyllenhaal could pull it off, but i'm not sold on him..that said, if he is cast they obviously see bats in him, so I wouldnt throw a hissy. My top choices:
Older Batman: Armitage, Mount, Brolin/Hamm
Younger: Gosling/Bentley, Gyllenhaal

Older Batman: Richard Armitage, Jim Caviezel, Christian Bale.
Batman in 30's: Wes Bentley, Luke Evans, Jake Gyllenhaal, Anson Mount.
Armitage is a great choice.
