Batman Character Halloween Costumes

Im going as nightwing this year, so far, i only got the mask done

Ok, it isnt perfect by all means, but i think it turned out great. After all, this was my first time making my own mask from scratch.

Everyone is probably gonna be the joker for halloween this yea,r so to stray away from that, im gonig as my own version of nightwing. No spandex suit or anything, this suit is gonna be a little more ''street like'' i guess you can say. Black Pants, black boots, black shirt, and a black jacket with the symbol painted on.

Anyways, i was at my cousins one day and she has alot of arts and crafts materials in her basement. She has yards of scrap fabric that she got all for free, and she had some leather. So i decided, ''hey, why not make my mask out of leather?'' So after about an hour of cutting out leather, this is what i came up with. Im really happy with how it came out, again, it isnt perfect, but I love it. BTW, this mask is more based on the animted series version than the comic version

Love her suit, if you give her red hair, easily one of the best batgirl costumes ever. And i lvoe that room

Thanks. I based it off the Alex Ross version. We opted for an all black cape though. She actually does have red hair, you just cant tell in that pic.

Ah i see. I like the black cape, makes the symbol, gloves, belt, and boots stand out more. I would definetly like to see more pics. BTW do you have a thread(here or on Brotherhood of the bat etc) of your costumes? Ive seen a few of them and I must say, im a huge fan.

This year I plan on going as The Penguin to counter all the Joker's I'll be sure to see. It's still in it's early stages, so I've got alot of work to do. I was the Joker last year so I've already got the purple pants, dress shoes, white gloves, and so on. I'll be sure to post some pictures once I have more.

I've looked at every costume shop in town, and the closest I can come to the pointy nose is a witch one, which has the warts on it.

Got a dark blue pinstripe Jones new York suit
White calvin Klein Dress shirt
Black and red tie like the movie

All burned with melted flesh/gore added

Make up 5 different latex scars, half bald cap painted like burned flesh
plus makeup. also used a Button making kit to make a I believe in Harvey dent Campaign button.

Will be posting pics as soon as I do first make up test. maybe some pics of the suit sooner

Last night our conversations went from picking on a guy who was whining cause we weren't paying enough attention to him, to tattoos, then to dragonflies and then boobz... we're a fun crowd of people!

So with that said... I'll add a little something of substance to this post and include a few pictures... you did say we could post Harley and Joker costume pics, so here we go... t:

And my Joker make-up... snapped by a friend of mine while we chatted via webcam. He said I was unnerving on camera. Suppose that's a good thing!

I do have a Harley costume in addition to my Joker costume, and also my own self-made Batman character, let's call her Harley's replacement, "Kitten Pistol" after my user name on here. I'll have to post some pics once I get some decent ones. I also have old Catwoman and Poison Ivy costumes laying about, but this year it's The Joker, Harley for a separate event this weekend, and Kitten for another this weekend.

Thanks DFA! Everyone got a kick out of my Harley at the party I wore that outfit to! I kept running around grabbing people in a headlock and giving them noogies and chasing two guys around who were dressed as the Joker. It was fun!

With that said I'll have to give some other make-up runs a go tonight and share pictures later. I still have yet to tackle Ivy and Catwoman and I want to brush up on my Two-Face make-up as well!

Hey all, a buddy of mine is heavy into special effects and make-up/sculpting work and he is making me into Two-Face for this Halloween. I'll update this more as we get closer, but I just wanted to show off what he's done so far.
