Batman Face The Face ?

If you ask me, not really. Unless if you're a big Two-Face fan and need to know how and why he's gone back to being Two-Face. Besides that, it's just an average Batman story.

Yeah, I'd only suggest it if you've already read all of the majorly good Bat books and are just looking for something new.

Well, maybe AFTER reading 52......I think it could be a book to pick up.

I mean, for us average Bat-readers it was really good. But, yeah.....overall.....it's a solid story. But, there's better out there.

I liked Face to Face alot but Two Face is one of my Favs. People are judging these 1 year lates things a little harsh.

Hey, none of said it was bad. I know I liked it. It just isn't the best story out there.

Excactly. It's a good read, but it's nothing special.

I personaly think it's one of the better Batman stories told in a while. No way am I saying "it's the best" or even CLOSE to the best. But out of the recent Batman stories it's pretty good.

Not jaw droping, but worth picking up IMO.

The series does have some nice artwork to it, though I did not like how the art teams shifted back and forth at each part - - the "look" changed too much.

I had complaints about the story (a whole list that I put on my blog here:
http://www.eewcomics.com/comic_atomic/face_the_face.html

But the main problems I had were story logic problems - - like Batman demolishing the upper floors of the office building when he goes to rescue the hostages from Poison ivy - - how'd Batman survive ramming the building in the Batplane? No explanation is given. Maybe the Batplane wasn't destroyed? Bats is flying it again in a later episode. Just doesn't make a lot of sense... Another one is Batman coming across Croc in the sewer - - he beats him and leaves him unconscious (Bats is busy hunting someone else). Why'd Batman leave him there? So that Croc can eat a sanitation worker later? Jason Bard shows up in a few parts, then simply disappears.

I do however like how the series ended, it was as if Batman suddenly stopped being a worried mother to Tim/Robin and was Batman again.

Overall, it was a pretty good story, but one of the issues, I don't remember which one, was one of the single best comics I had read in a while. It was the one that was just Harvey Dent talking to Two-Face in that dive, and he eventually scarred himself again. I just felt that particular issue was extremely well done.

Anyway, it's not bad, and when you've run out of the "classic" stories, I say go and pick it up.

The best OYL storyline in the DC Universe for me.

I thought it was good.

7-10, not on the level of a HUSH, deffinetly not a LONG HALLOWEEN, but a good read. Not too much mystery in it, I'd compare it- quality-wise, to AS THE CROW FLIES. It's about as good, maybe better, that that.

Really?

I dug it, but I'd say the most interesting has been ROBIN recently.

I really like what they've done with Cassie. She COULD be a worthy replacement to Ra's Al Ghul. She has a "relationship/admiration for Robin" and was taught by Batman. A very good new Rogue.

No its not worth buying, it sucked. Some of the Detecive issues were all right, but other then that it sucked as a whole.

Of that story arc I only found the last issue to be really good. I almost gave up on buying the rest of Winnick's run because I didn't like the other issues that much. Fortunatly he improved with the Under The Hood story arc.
