Batman fan film. Script.

Me and my friend have always wanted to make an official Batman fan film. we're both die hard Batman fans and were finally getting it all together. we began writing the script a month ago and it's supposed to take place a few months after "the dark knight" we're going for the christopher nolan approach and overall we're very excited. Since we want the story to be very deep and well written we've been reading through our comics and making sure everything is top notch.

we've only written half of the script so far. and i want to see what you guys think. since you guys love Batman i'd love to hear some feedback.

SUMMARY
Our story would follow the events after the dark knight. The main villains would be black mask, scarecrow, and of course the joker. The story would focus most on the rise of power of black mask, and the struggle of bruce wayne fighting black mask and batman fighting joker.

Like i said before. i would love some feedback from you guys. i'd love suggestions and any ideas you guys would like. any kind of events anything at all, i'd love to hear it.

Seems like a fun and ambitious project, and as a filmschool student, I'd like to give my opinion.

I like the dialogue and all that. My main problem is the script, which is written very strangely (the descriptive sentences, etc) and it's written in Word. But I think this is a great project and I hope it goes well! What are you using for a suit and stuff, and which editing software do you use?

yay, we finally got some feedback. Yeah, the script it written very strangely. but as for the batman suit, it's not completed...

here was our "rough draft" we still have to put alot of work into it.

we need to work on getting a real belt, and shoulder, knee, elbow pads. and defiantly a new body "padding" around the chest and abdomen.

I use Imovie, but recently bought final cut, I'm still getting used to it. and we will be using a 6,000 dollar high definition camera.

IMO i would at a new love interest for batman/Wayne. Make the dialog more powerful, not so descriptive as Gexmeister said. Also black mask is an great choice. He has a very interesting back story. I would add some dialog/flashback, or a scene about why he hates wayne. Maybe he loved Rachael? IMO make him a cult leader could really darken up the story.

i like your ideas as black mask being a cult leader. and this is just the script. when we film it I'm sure the descriptive parts will play out and we defiantly need to make the dialogue more powerful :]

The Joker costume looks badass, but you need to work on the batman costume. But as you said, it's a rough draft, and I know how hard it is to put together a Batman costume ( I have a batman Begins one).

URGENT ANNOUNCEMENT:

killer moth has been written into the script. He will be used as a joke. in the way as they use the shocker in ultimate spiderman.
He will be in near the opening of the movie, to elude to the "escalation" idea.

And as for your new design of Killer Moth, I like it a lot! And the idea to make him a joke like Herman in Ultimate Spider-Man is genius. This'll be good.
