In a nut shell Gotham is the story of a night where Batman is on patrol, but does not run into any of the villains. What goes through his mind when this rare occurrence happens, How does he interpret this event, and what is really going on in this massive city that is just beyond the scope of one man's ability.

More of a concept piece that a straight forward narrative, I hope you all have a look, to admire Gene's art, and hopefully enjoy a piece of fan art.

Hey man, it was great. Really enjoyed it. Batman's narration. Also you captured the villains well. The only thing I would change would be Gordons pipe to a cigarette or cigar. Other than that great work

That was incredible. The art was brilliant, i especially loved the Joker's facial expressions, they were dead on. I also really like the story, its a very interesting perspective on the 'can one man protect a city?' idea.

I just downloaded the pdf. Will be reading when I get a chance. The preview pages looked fantastic. I'll give an actual critique of the writing, story and art once I get a chance to fully read it.

But color me intrigued.

your story is good but you got the font all wrong. what type of font are you using? it's so hard to read. please improve on this. better still, re-do using a readable font.

The Joker is like a darker version of TAS Joker. This is really awesome I'm hoping to do something similar sooner or later.

The font issue was recongised only once we had completed, we contemplated a re-do, but in the end decided that it was at a "good enough" standard, with the beauty of the book coming from the art and design. Basically we didn't think the font detracted from what we were trying to do.
It is something we are going to be more mindful of in the future though.

The joker wasn't inspired by any one interpretation, just a traditional take with some extra steps taken in his action.
