batman movies

Batman 89 did. I voted Begins.

Did you vote Abomination 97?

'89 and it's a fact.

Batman (1989) is infact DC Comics highest grossing movie.
With Superman Returns and Batman Begings on second and third..

If you take inflation into account then Superman (1978) is #1

...how the hell did four people vote for BB?

might be because BB is only 42 million short of beeing the highest grosser
and thats not counting DVDsales, with DVDsales it just bight be the top grossing DC comics/Batman movie

Well, Batman 89' hit it big at the Box Office - although Batman Begins was close. Batman & Robin unfortunately didn't quite pull it off at the Box Office :-)csad: ), they were given a 4,000th-hand safe to put their profit into...

I'd say Batman Forever or Batman Begins..

I'd say Forever just because there were like a million toys for it.

42 million is a pretty big margin of difference. To put it in perspective, Batman is currently the 36th highest grossing movie of all time, BB is the 67th.

And remember, while yeah, most of the people at the Hype are probably too young to remember it, but when B89 was released it was a BIG hit. I mean, Spider-Man-like big. $250 million dollars was a fantastic sum of money back in 1989 (adjusted, I think it comes to about 400 million). It was the late 80s' Spider-Man, or Pirates of the Caribbean or The Matrix. BB didn't come close to achieving that kind of public appeal.

Not that BB sucks or anything. :o

I'm probably gonna get my ass kicked for this, but I think that Batman & Robin wasn't a bad movie, it just had the wrong cast

coughs *george clooney* whoa I gotta get that cough looked at!:whatever:

Well I think the contrary : good cast but bad movie.
I think I'm going to be flamed too ...
