My brother bought that movie when it came out on DVD and a few weeks after he sold it. He said he did not like it. Me? I loved it. I thought it was a cool story.

What did you guys think about the movie?

I know this movie came out a long time ago...just it always bothered me that he sold it.

I wanted to watch it earlier today but then it hit me again like it has several times "Your dumbass brother sold it cause he thought it wasn't good a long time ago." :(

Some fans dislike the movie a lot, but it was very-well made, and I like it. It's not the best of the DCAU films, but it isn't the worst.

I heard a lot of people did not like it too. Just I do not know their reasons. I liked it.

Well I brought the DVD in 2003 when it came out, I liked but it didn't have the magic MOTP had.

I don't think any of the animated movies have been as great as MOTP.But Mystery of the Batwoman was very good IMO.

And it was great to see The Penguin get to be central villain. He's been out of the spotlight in that show for too long.He deserved it.I just missed Paul Williams doing his voice.

I think the animated movies go like this:

    1) ROTJ
    2) MOTP
    3) MOTB
    3) SZ

Although I place ROTJ and MOTP on equal footing,

Yea, between ROTJ and MOTP it is hard to choose which is better.

I bought it on sale at the end of last summer, and i enjoyed it a lot! It was just refreshing to see a "new" batmovie set in the new (or middle) timverse of continuity. it's kind of a stand alone story which makes it easy. my favorite part was probably the kinky "what-the!" moment when bruce has that exchange w/babs! literally, i was like WTF?! It was also HILARIOUS! But Bruce played the playboy bit a little too thick and i didn't care for how it ended (the supposed blooming romance-i don't think so!) And the villian choice worked, even though they used b & c list villains. But a descent effort and a nice addition to my collection. But I hope they make another batmovie someday b/c it doesn't play well as a movie-series capper.

I thought it was ok, loved the Batman/Bane fights. IMO it was better than SubZero but not as good as MOTF and ROTJ. And I think the Bruce Barbra thing was playing off what was mentioned in an episode of Batman Beyond.

Loved the plot, hated the predictible ending. Still not as good as Batman: MotP, but better the Sub-Zero.

Ya SubZero was not all that great. With the plot being so obvious made the movie seem so short.

I didnt like, personally. The whole Batwoman on the glider thing just screamed Goblin-ripoff not to mention, like someone said above, the villains just sucked. I like Penguin as much as the next guy, but him and Thorne came off about as threatening as a wetsock.

I was not all for the glider part too, but I thought if she had gadgets a whole lot more like Bats then it would have been stupid.

Indeed, 'blandness' is certainly the best word to describe it.

Not a bad movie, I must say...but...eh, compared to the series and other animated films...it just lacked. Bland indeed.
