I REALLY doubt they are turning the scene into night. Yeah, there will be color correction/timing/balence done in post, but Nolan isn't going to completely change this scene into night. Stop..PLEASE STOP IT with the "it'll be turned into night in post" stuff. IT'S NOT HAPPENING. This scene takes place in the DAYLIGHT and it's part of the story as to why that is. JUST DEAL WITH IT!
The reason why it ISN'T being turned into night is that if Nolan wanted a NIGHT SCENE....He would have shot it at night. "but in TDK the Hong Kong scene was shot in day and turned to night." YEAH..Because it's insane and unsafe to pull that stunt in the movie off during the night and the country wouldn't allow it to happen that way. BUT this scene here is just simple stunt work on the ground, with snow falling and a ton of extras and no need of a CGI Batman stunt either. It would be insanely stupid and expensive to shoot in the day, only to turn around and turn it into night. Plus this scene extends to a chase scene on the streets...so they're going to shoot all this footage (city hall, batpod chase scene..ect) and use a lot of post/time/money to convert it to NIGHT? They may have $250million of a budget, but it's a BUDGET..not a check book to waste time and money!
So please..can we STOP IT with the convert the scene to night talk? PLEASE? IT'S NOT HAPPENING.
Thank you.
