Hi guys,

I've been spending serious money in graphic novels and I need to STOP.

I do plan to do a final purchase for my Batman collection, but I'm torn between Batman: Prey and Batman: Noel.

What are your recommendations?

Thank you!

I’ve read Noel. It definitely isn’t bad by any means. Actually it’s pretty good, but ultimately not incredibly special. It should’ve been more emotional and moving but I didn’t come away feeling that way. Plus, (and I know that I’m probably in the minority on this) I am not a fan of Bermejo’s art. I find it unnecessarily busy and his Batman always looks constipated to me.

I’ve never read Prey.

Thank you Babillygunn!

I'll take it as a vote for Noel. 1-0 :D

Long time since I read either (I don't own them) but I remember that I enjoyed Noel a lot more than Prey.

Noel. Awesome little story. A Christmas Carol meets Batman, excellent art as always by Bermejo.
