Would Batman ever truely get to a point in any of these films where he could retire? I mean would it be possible? Just pondering the thought.
 
Yes, the concept is called batman beyond...

get bale to restart up the franchise in 10/20 years time as an elderly bruce wayne
 
Why retire him? He's only just starting in these films.
 
it would be cool if bale could ride the batman franchise long enough where he could retire, and we could have a beyond movie, but he'll move on...but hopefully it could happen like November Rain suggests
