I apologize if someone has already made a thread about this. I did a search, and didn't see anything. What are peoples' opinions on this miniseries? I am thinking about picking it up because I love Sam Kieth's art, but I've heard virtually nothing about it, positive or negative.

i honestly have mixed feelings about it. some of the art sucks, and sometimes just feels like another copy of dave mckean IMO.

it's pretty meh so far...the whole "bruce killed an animal when he was a kid and is now scarred because of it" thing is pretty weak too

i'm picking it up, art is at times very good, but most the time it's shocking, to inconistant. story is alright, nothing special but readable, i'll contiue buying, but only because i can't get just half an arc, i need the full thing.

i was actually wondering about the barcode on this series. i can not seem to find any of the individual issues anywhere that doesn't have the barcode on the cover!! i was wondering if anyone knew why this was. since most comic books that aren't sold at big conglomerates and are actually sold at comic books specific stores do not have the bar code on the front to maintain the integrity of the cover art, i assumed there had to be some released in this series that did the same. am i wrong?
