The Dark Knight "Batman" Specials on History Channel

"Batman Tech" and "Batman Unmasked" Specials are History Channel HD. Both these specials focus on "The Dark Knight." I bet we see these with the blu-ray release.

"Batman Unmasked" is on right now and will be on again at 2 am EST. "Batman Tech" was on at 9 pm EST and will be on again at 1 am EST. So set your DVRs!

The Batman Tech piece was a lot better (and more expansive) than I imagined. It's nice to see the evolution of technology be reflected in and inspired by fiction.

It doesn't look like for a while. There's nothing coming up on the 'upcoming listings' section of THC's website.

That's surprising, seeing as how they only showed the premiere and the repeat, a few hours later.

I managed to download the unmasked one in HD from a torrent site. I was really impressed with it. I can't find the Tech one unfortunately, if anyone has a link, then please post it.

I'm increasingly impressed with the programming on the History Channel (aside from their apparent cancellation of Human Weapon ). It was really cool to see Bale and Nolan in at least one of the two specials, if not both. I also thoroughly enjoyed seeing the curator of the CIA museum talking about Batman. Surreal.

Saw these today (recorded them last night) and I was really impressed! It was really interesting to see that these gadget's aren't so far-fetched.

My mother and I watched it tonight when it was on earlier. Pretty cool stuff. She was interested in the high tech stuff. I'm still pissed that the Tumbler leaving the Underground hidehout wasn't in the movie! Seeing the clip of the tires buring out and spinning around looked pretty cool.

My mother came in when they were talking about the Nomex suits - I said, "they're talking about 'Batman's suit is composed of Nomex fabric, much like firefighters suits,' and then they show a picture of the Batsuit and it's completely bulky rubber."

She laughed.

Batman Tech and Batman Psych are also both on History HD, and shown in HD. The TDK shots on the HD Channel are like re-watching parts of TDK in the theatres. Glorious.

Yeah, I really enjoyed watching the unmasked episode.
