In many ways this is a hard book to read. I was 17right when I first read it. It's about Batman shifting his focus to child sex slavery and kiddie porn. Alfred reveals to him the Martha Wayne had been a crusader against this evil and the Joe Chill was actually a contracted killer hired to hit Martha by a cabal if child pornographers.

I just read this book again. There are issues with it, but I think it's a good book. Informative about the horror of child abuse and sexual slavery worldwide. And the portrayal could pretty smoothly fit into Nolan's Batworld.

Anyone else read it? There was also a comic adaptation.

This has been one of my favorite Batman stories for years...precisely because it's about him dealing with something tangible and grounded instead of combating a rogue's gallery member yet again.
