Now they can feel vindicated. I hate it, this movie was better than of those Transformers flicks and the critics fried them too and yet they all did very well at the box office. Its crazy, how can they be critic proof and BvS loses against the bad reviews?

Sigh. The critics were right. This movie is horrible. The WOM is terrible. You may not be able to see that, but it's the objective truth.

but WW was part BvS.

Does it really matter? The audience isn't invested in this series. At this point in time there options are either to press ahead with a brand that has quickly become toxic, or wait a few years to reboot everything.

the only way to soft reboot and do it story wise is with Flash, imo.

I don't expect Flash to happen at this point. Unless they do something with TV Flash.

Yeah, this is really the worst-case scenario. WB production should really be fired for this whole mess.

Because the way they've engineered things, all the world-building helped drag 'BvS' down. And ALSO because of all the ham-fisted world-building, Gal Gadot and Ben Affleck are associated with this failure, so there's no way to build a cleanly rebooted DCU around them, even if they manage to be massive Iron Man-style hits as solo properties.

Just have a script where Superman returns to life within the first half an hour, more or less ignore the events of MoS and BvS, and concentrate on a brand new, lighter tone with no world building bulls*** and a coherent story. This series still has box office written all over it if the right people are employed to do it.

And make sure Zack Snyder is a million miles away from it.

I'd actually cut to the future where the JL have been in action for sometime, with Superman having come back to life, maybe 5 or so years after BvS. Boom, there's your soft reboot.

There is absolutely no chance of another Man Of Steel movie I'd say. The first one doesn't do that well at the BO and the second one does even worse.

Transformers is dumb fun. BvS isn't fun at all. It's dreary and miserable and there's not enough action to justify only going for that

There is absolutely no chance of another Man Of Steel movie I'd say. The first one doesn't do that well at the BO and the second one does even worse.

All depends. With the right director, storyline, and villain, a MoS sequel works fine. As far as the box office, I think you keep the budget low and concentrate more on character than spectacle. People will still want to see Superman, he is still an American icon, but you have to do him the right way.

The way they left Superman off at the end, it could absolutely be done. But I wouldn't throw him into JLA without doing a MoS sequel first. That's just me though. There are other ways to make it work going straight into JLA, but I think it comes off better storyline wise.

Snyder will not be let go at this point. JL starts filming in a week. You can however bet they are reworking the script.
