This is for when they start revealing the awesome merchandise!
I don't think he looks fat as much as the limbs are out of proportion. The upper torso needs to be wider and the deltoids need to be more rounded. The biceps area needs both bulk and definition, and the arms are too short.
The legs are the worst part. There's no shape to the quadriceps at all. I guess this is accurate since Affleck's legs aren't very impressive, but HT doesn't need to make the figure's legs so smooth and unremarkable. Hopefully, the final product is better.
Maybe they should have used a bulkier body mold or tighter fabric,
I've got my eyes on this one:
Looks so much better. Any more pics of that figure?
I don't know, but I'd love to see them if there are.
I posted this in the original thread.
Now this statue is a work of art!
Wow, things have come such a long way since I was a lad. This is what was available for me back then:
Wait.. So people b**** and moan about the Hot Toys version but this one(Which is decent) with cottage cheese thunder thighs and child bearing hips is better? Lol I'm lost.
Hot toys is not so bad, remember this is a beta...I think, more pics in the video.
Yes, this one is miles better.
I hope you're right, William. Some improvements would be nice-- both figures' pecs and shoulders could use tweaking, and Superman's pants and Batman's thighs could also be made to appear more anatomically correct.
On the other hand, the suits for the film look freakin' awesome. Wow!
Those, my friend, are some strong a** looking legs, like they should be. Put the hot toys head on this (the face here resembles the Arkham Knight one a lot, could be the light tho) and you have perfection.
The armored suit is on instagram.
What are you looking at??
Damn I wish those bars weren't there. These are awesome shots! That super suit is GORGEOUS.
I hope it's on the bts blue-ray dvd.
^ From the bottom of the neck down, is that Cavill in the suit or a manip? His left hand looks like it's composed of plastic.
These shots aren't meant to be shown to the public (the presence of the black strips) but only to merchandise purpose (toys, statues among other things).
That's why Cavill has that weird pose.
And the poor quality of the video doesn't help at all.
It's not the pose I find odd, it's the look of his hand. It literally looks like plastic to me.
^ You may be right, though. The fact that his pose resembles that of a robot might have something to do with the odd appearance of his hand.
could those images be from body scans for the toy and or CG ?
could explain the "awkward pose"
The MOS version had a better face I think.
The BvS doesn't really look like Cavil as much.
this statue is miles better than the HT.
They did over do the cloth creases on the thighs a bit...
Too much pizza last knight, or retaining water...
