This news broke in January and all of the plot points in january are leaking out again. It was initially leaked by a guy who said he was fired and was on the effects crew or something.

Do you believe the story from January? Or are people now digging pieces of it up here and there to get hits?

I don't know what to believe. I will say this though: I'm not crazy about the thought of Superman "dying" in this film. Still, it's too early to jump to conclusions; so, for the time being, I remain cautiously optimistic.

That doesn't really make sense with what we're seeing with the statue and the flowers. Here it says that Clark Kent "dies". As in he publicly suffers something that should be lethal and so has to give up his identity. Then he goes into exile for some reason.

If people are placing flowers around the broken statue, then Superman would be the one who dies. Not Clark because they don't know he's Superman.

It's probably not either of these things anyway.

Damn, why do I get a feeling we're going to be getting a lot of CGI Streets/City Background like we did for the final fight between Zod and Superman in MOS? That's the one thing that I really hated the most, in terms of visual problems for MOS.

The Zod battle needed the CGI due to the difficulty of the fight and things they did, and really in my point of view (they received one award for best CGI enviroment on a movie I don't remember the link)
The CGI green screens aren't for background. Don't you see the background and that they are shooting background aren't big sets, they are outside, on the city.

What if there was something big but people not Superman were the casualties and the scene is to do the honors to the people attacked there by some cough Metallo cough atacking Superman?

Really? I can't really tell with the photos that we currently have. I mean, it looked like they were just on a huge parking lot, located within a studio, where they've created a huge Green screen wall and railings to create some sort of city environment backdrop.

Have you seen this. Again we haven't seen that much. but it's clearly a location outside, like they did on Smallville...

The CGI IMO is for the scene of the statue or for something to complement the background where they are filming.
