If WB is seeking out a middle aged Bruce Wayne who is a more seasoned Dark Knight, is it fair to speculate that we could see the Bat Family make its presence known in this film as well?

If your gonna introduce them, you kinda have to do it now, or at least mention them, because if Batman is over 40, there isnt much time left in his career to raise Robins.

I would love to see the Bat family from Pre 52, but I am fairly certain WB will want to stay in that version. How cool it would be though to have Oracle in his ear like in Hush. You could switch that out with Alfred though, maybe even tim Drake. Have Nightwing go to Metropolis with him instead of Catwoman.

Gives him more of an edge against Superman as well, at least till he finds Kryptonite.

I really hope not...no Nightwing, Batgirl...MAYBE Robin. I'd actually like to see a decently done Robin and not some damn cop with the name of Robin. I want The Boy Wonder

I think there is a reason Arkham City used Tim, he is the most popular Robin (living) at the moment. Dick is better as Nightwing.

I'm of the opinion Batman should only be, at the oldest, on his first Robin, ideally having only just adopted Dick Grayson. Make him physically the same age as Superman, but already wise and weary beyond his years.

I'd actually love it if Dick got his turn as Robin in an interim Batman movie, and we got to see either Babs or Jason in the World's Finest sequel with Supergirl after and interim Superman movie.

It's probably over-ambitious, but I'd love it.

No.
First Superman/Batman for this film, maybe Wonder Woman for the third.

If Hit-Girl worked in Kick Ass (she was the most popular character), then they could probably get away with a 11-13 year old Robin (not 8-9). I'd actually really like to see the Huntress myself.

of we do see any other members of the bat family, then even more so do I want Supergirl to show up

I'd like the idea that they exist in the universe but I don't think they should be in this film. Similar to how Robin wasn't in the first few episodes of BTAS.

It did just occur to me that we do have a live action Green Arrow running around. Could he be used as a possible ally for Batman? (similar to TDKR)

I love the idea of Dick Grayson making an appearance for the Gotham or batcave scenes. LOVE the idea of that. If batman is in his forties he should definitrly have robin or robin should be mentioned

I didn't like this idea at first(due to Amell's Arrow being a mass murderer), but I'm starting to warm up to the idea. He has the potential to be the most developed JL member. Batman can take him under his guidance and teach him that killing is not the right way to do things.

To take things even further, Malcolm Merlyn mentioned that he trained in Nanda Parbat, was likely a member of the League of Shadows. If they get Bale back and connect the films with Arrow, it will be interesting if they make mention of that Ra's/Merlyn/Batman connection.

I don't like the show either. But I'm just wondering if it might happen?

I'd very much like to see the Bat-Family. The main three Robins and Oracle.

However, they don't need to be seen in this film, this is Batman's introduction, maybe there could be a few cameos.

I think cameos would be great, or even vocals (through the cowl)

I like the idea of "The Hood" getting involved, especially since they are spinning Flash out of the Arrow show. Green Arrow was a very important part of Dark Knight Returns.

I seriously doubt they'd be seen in this film. A future one maybe.

It could mention the death of Jason Todd 10 years before and him still missing

I actually wouldn't mind seeing something like that. Be a nice nod, as well as leave the door open to develop him in future movies.

Robin done well would be a great addition to the movieverse. Either something like the scene posted above, or a mature Grayson/Drake staying behind in the batcave, helping Batman behind the scenes while at the batcomputer. It's those little details that can really go to fleshing out the world, as well as making it more "fun."

I wouldn't mind a cameo. But they shouldn't feature heavily at all.

See I'm not sure this could work. With the 'realistic' tone of MOS, Clark or anyone in that world for that matter would only be perturbed by the bat cave and Batman's obsessive and fetishistic nature. For anyone to see a child involved in it all too would just be too far.

I don't think we're gonna see Gotham. I think Bruce/Batman will be investigating Metropolis. It's gonna all be tied into Luthor. We'll see a new Batman, wearing probably more practical gear, no doubt armed with hypersonics and plastiques to equip himself against Supes. But his extended family (Alfred, Gordon, Barbara, etc.) will be left for his sequel. This is still a Superman film... right? Right?

I would rather they stay out of it. We will already have Superman, Batman, and whatever villain(s) vying for screen time. Personally, I would prefer Bruce to be younger and approximately the same age as Clark, though more pessimistic and hardened. For a character like Robin, I would like some build-up and/or a little exploration of his relationship with Bruce, rather than a cameo. I think introducing them down the road would work better: it would solidify both costumed heroes and Bruce's role in this new universe. Besides, if this is primarily a Superman movie, wouldn't it make more sense to reference his own future/potential allies and save the others for a Bat-centric film?

I do wonder if they would go with Dick Grayson or choose a later incarnation, though. Something tells me the GA would like Jason Todd, or that WB would think the GA would like him. After all, most people know of Robin, but not the individual characters; the angry one that gets mashed up by the Joker would fit the 'dark and gritty' scene. Of course, I also feel that shifting the Robin line-up would have some affect on the characters themselves. (ie; Dick coming after Jason, Tim being the first Robin, etc.) Their personalities, Bruce's treatment of them, and certain character arcs are often influenced by the prior Robins.

But it is exciting to think about having live-action side-characters appear. That is, them appearing and being executed well...

I only meant if they have Dick Grayson or one of the sidekicks in, I don't want any of them tbh.
