Well, there's a teaser now, so I guess this deserves its own thread.

My guess is that Marcus Johnson is related to Bucky. But that's probably wrong. In fact, I kind of hope it's wrong because that's a little boring.

What interests me a lot more is the characters that this same redacted file on Johnson was sent to. Captain America, Daisy Johnson (of the Secret Warriors), Taskmaster, and Deadpool? Very weird mix of characters.

Not weird when you consider most of them are characters in MARVEL VS. CAPCOM 3 and it's sequel game, ULTIMATE MARVEL VS. CAPCOM 3. What? It's called synergy.

Marcus Johnson may be a retcon legacy. Being related to Bucky is possible, although it'd mean he porked someone during his Winter Soldier days. He could be the first of those super-soldiers the Shadow Cabinet wanted to make. Or maybe he knows the secret of how Wolverine is able to appear in so many books at once.

I don't know, I think most dudes that have been around before safe sex became an openly discussed concept and pulling out was the most widely used contraceptive, (Outside of those that have been in suspended animation.) should have a few bastards roaming the Earth.

A s***ty event doesn't necessarily mean a s***ty follow-up. Hell, pretty much everything at Marvel has been fair to decent follow-ups to s***ty events for the past few years.
