Battlefield 4

I've never been a fan. But the mp gameplay was great and it runs 60 fps finally

I'm actually really excited about this, love Battlefield in almost every iteration. The multiplayer king.

Agreed. Cant wait to jump into those 64 player matches. I talked to a buddy who has BF3 on both PC and 360 and said those 64 player matches can be incredibly exciting, adds a lot to the feeling that you are part of a much much larger battle(which i mean you are haha)

Yeah I watched in awe of the how much more is used in the PC version while I played the smaller 360 version. 64 players is my main source of excitement! Finally consoles will bring a experience close to the PC! Plus those destructible environments, Bad Company was cool but this seems much more expansive in what can be destroyed.

And whats crazy, playing on the 360, i was never once like "this game needs more players" it was ALWAYS frantic and felt large scale.

Yup! I always would of liked to fight at the tower in Caspian Border like the PC version though.

Bought the Battlefield 3 premium edition today for 20 bucks. The game is winning me over, the campaign was god awful but there's a reason its on the 2nd disc. The multiplayer is fun and frantic though the random spawns are embarassingly awful and I hate how when you first start out your weapons/abilities aren't very good. I understand naturally as you level up you're going to get more powerful but its a balance I don't think they handled very well but that's a minor complaint as I'm still easily taking everyone out. Also what the hell, brand new engine and no destruction, man what a disappointment. Im glad I got the premium edition because most of this dlc is not worth the money especially close quarters. Overall though this is good stuff and ill be playing til I get the xbox one and bf 4

I think overall I got more into Bad Company 2. Really loved that game at the time and if you ever wanted a dlc worth the money Vietnam's the one. But I don't have any complaints on Battlefield 3. For some reason I couldn't get into the Rush mode as much which is all I played on BC2. BF4 really looks like a definitive next gen game and if im only getting one at launch, it has a good shot.

I'll take Bad Company 2 over Battlefield 3 any day of the week. The campaign in that wasn't great but at least the characters were funny/interesting and multiplayer had destruction and I found to just be overall more fun.

Yea I had a blast with BC2, altho the weapons and equipment are far more realistic and accurate for BF3. I deff want the full destruction to come back in BF4. Snipers are far more annoying in BF3 due to the fact u can't destroy the buildings they camp on. The hardcore mode was also much better in BC2.

All I heard about BC2 and BF3 is uh the snipers are soo realistic with bullet drop, you actually gotta make your shot count. yeah that's true you do and it does feel good when you rock a long range headshot. My problem with the whole is that um all the other weapons don't have bullet drop, nor do they lose damage the farther they travel. Really dumb. My connection is perfectly fine but I've lost by 3 or 4 connections so far this evening, really annoying and it doesn't seem like my stats are saving which is even more annoying. Trying to unlock the Spas but its made hard when my stats don't save. On a related note absolutely love that you unlock weapons through challenges, what a great idea.

I just got Battlefield 3 Premium as a b-day present, I shall now begin the preparation of Battlefield 4! :D

The big thing I want to know about Next Gen BF 4 is whether they can have the 64 player MP on the new consoles.

Battlefield 4 supports 64 players on PlayStation 4, 60 fps

During today’s live streaming of Battlefield 4 multiplayer at E3, DICE confirmed in an on-screen interview that the PlayStation 4 version will indeed support 64 players. When the game was unveiled yesterday EA’s E3 press conference, DICE said that the Xbox One would support 64 players, but there was no mention of 64 players on the PS4. Both next-gen consoles will run the game at 60 frames per second as well.

64 players at 60 FPS is great but it's a shame if they can't get to 1080p for next gen when pcs could do all the above on BF3.
