Has anyone been playing the demo for this released recently? I have to say, I'm really impressed. When the game was being previewed, I kinda thought that they focused on the Frostbite mechanic (where walls and stuff can be blown up), which, admittedly, is pretty cool, but if the other parts of the game didnt work, who would notice the walls being destroyed? I'm happy to say though, that the game is a joy to play. The maps are huge, shooting and aiming works, and, yea, blowing walls up is the best. After the massive dissapointment that is Haze, B:BC will definately be my next FPS purchase.

I thought the demo was horrid. I thought the destructible enviroments were really cool, but i wasnt crazy about anything else. At a time where we have Call of Duty 4, there is no room for this subpar FPS. Also, this is a multiplatform release.

I wouldn't say this game is horrid, and Call of Duty 4 is certainly not better. I think, they both are fun, on their own levels. I loved the demo, and the environments are great when being destroyed. I'm looking forward to pickin this game up tomorrow. I've always loved the Battlefield franchise, and this one is a step up from Modern Combat.

"BT: Between the console-based Bad Company and the more casual, kind of accessible feel of Heroes, some hardcore fans may be worried that the once realistic, PC-only shooter is now...

BC: Changed?

BT: Yeah, like it's going to suddenly become this casual, console-only shooter.

BC: Well, I'm the executive producer on the franchise. I'm really in charge of the entire Battlefield franchise and it's very clear to me that there are three... well, we have to make this a three-pronged assault with the series really.

First, there are consoles. Consoles are really big, we can't ignore them, we have to be on the consoles. Second, there's this casual experiment we're going with Battlefield: Heroes and the third prong is the hardcore PC gaming experience. We've made those in the past and we'll continue to make them in the future. We aren't specifically announcing anything, but we are still going to keep those hardcore gamers very happy.

A lot of people are confused when they see Heroes because they see it and assume that that is the future of Battlefield on PC, but it isn't."

Battlefield 3 will own all.

Yes, Call of Duty 4 is absolutely better. Period.

The only thing positive about this game are the destructible environments.Gunplay, animations, sound are all better in Call of Duty 4.

They need to bring the Battlefield PC experience to consoles. The console Battlefields are just rubbish.

I thought the demo was pretty weak, too. And yes, Call of Duty 4 is much better than Bad Company.

And personally, I think all Battlefield games are rubbish.

I agree. I thought the demo was crap.

The console ones maybe, if your including the pc ones, I reckon you just alittle butt hurt from the rainbow 6: Vegas comment. that's ok.

I've played ALL of the Battlefield games minus 2142 and I haven't liked a single one.
