Transformers Bay says Mystery Transformer only he knows about.

I was reading another thread and it said only Bay and the crew of Hasbro know about the Mystery transformer not said yet. Is this true or is it just Bay taking a Psyco route like Tom Cruise. If there is any truth in this then lets speculate who it is. Could be Shockwave or Soundwave trying to get in touch with Megatron at the end of the film. Could be Prowl or Ultra Magnus trying to get in touch with the Autobots.

I think it needs to be another Autobot if this is true. I just think the Autobots are a little outnumbered as of now. I mean come on. 9 to 5. That doesn't work.

It could also all be bull**** trying to bring up hype that everyone will forget about by the time the movie comes out.

Umm, Aren't the 5 Autobots and 8 Decepticons all that we get in the movie? I don't see how they can add more characters, They wouldnt have enough screentime.

I dont know I just want to see the source material where Bay actually stated that there will be a mystery Transformer not known about yet. I read about it here and I just want the truth.

The only bots I can really see mattering as a means to "surprise" are:

1) Shockwave, appearing at the very end?
or
2) Soundwave in the movie somehow (flashback, maybe?)?
or MAYBE...
3) In the flashback where Prime relates the story to Sam, you see giant Guardians walking around Cybertron (Omega Supreme)?

Or Ravage in some quick cameo? Eh... nah, everything else would probably garner eye-rolls or sucks of the teeth and would only serve to remind many of us just how different this movie is from the original Transformers storyline.

If you watch the Mtv segment where he says the comment he says they added a few new ones and alot of the old classics. The only one who hasn't been a TF is bonecrusher. Maybe he says they're new because the casual tf fan doesn't know that blackout, barricade and brawl are actually transformers. But then again who knows we might get a surprise in the film.

You know, this reminds me alot of Toho's handling of Monster X, the ultra big, surprise monster who turned out to be Kaiser Ghidorah's larval stage. If it's anything like that reveal, it will be underwhelming.
