Loved the series when I was younger. In retrospect I wish Bruce Lee had been cast in the role instead of Carradine, even though he ended up being a great Caine too.

Interesting. He doesn't seem like the sort of director who would go for a project like this which is what makes it so interesting. I'll have to check it out.

I loved the kung Fu series own the complete series my favorite was Kung Fu: The Legend Continues it kind of gotten out of whack in the later episode they had time traveler and scifi last time I heard that bill pull man was detracting wonder what happened?

and I'm skeptical if he understands the kung fu genre.

It's probably harder than one thinks to make a great one.

Ang Lee and Quentin Tarantino are not only gifted filmmakers but they were obviously passionate about the subject.
