Hello everybody and welcome to the Bear the Mark thread; to the viewers who are reading this thread, I've come to ask you fans to join us in our mission. With that said, a while ago when we mourned over Heath Ledger's unfortunate demise, WB and makers of the Why So Serious Campaign pinned a black ribbon on one of they're viral sites to symbolize and pay tribute to our lost and beloved actor. And when TDK nears around the corner I'm going to start making plenty of ribbons for the midnight showing and the pack I'm going with will all commemorate this matter by bearing Ledger's ribbon..........or in this case, and hence the name, bear his mark. So please, do join our us in this cause to enjoy the movie when the time has finally arrived and to most importantly remember.

Well for I me I'm just gonna make some of my own by hittin' Walmart and probably buy a yard of black ribbon fabric from the fabric department; though I do believe you can buy some of the bumper sticker ones off of Ebay.

I really like this idea though. We should get Batfans passing them out opening night before the movie. We could make a huge gallery of pictures of us fans who really appreciated Ledgers performance and made sure people remember him when watching the Dark Knight.

I'm gonna try and get a black ribbon. I'm also buying Heath a ticket to the first showing of the movie. I doubt we'll have a midnight showing, and our theaters rarely sell out so I won't be hurting anyone.

this is a really good idea and i was thinking of how i can honor him while going to the movie and you gave me a great idea, so i'm either gonna get a black ribbin or purple armband, whichever i come across first.. p.s buying heath a ticket, is a little ... odd..but whatever works..

Yeah. Weird, I know. But after his death, I was just so shocked, and he was only 78 days away from seeing the movie. I thought, well, I'll buy a ticket and save him a seat.

Again, weird, I know. I won't deny it. But it's what I would've wanted, had I missed the movie by that little. It's sort of like still setting a place for someone at the dinner table, even though they're gone, I guess.

Never heard of the purple armband; whatever works though really. I'm gonna lean more towards the ribbon just because it incorportates both Heath Ledger and TDK through the WSS campaign. But either way, still great and still spread the word. t:
