Hawkeye / Hulk would be cool, but I also would like to see Thor & Hawkeye become chummy.

Just to give them both a little more to do, and bring their characterization in some more than the first Avengers.

But otherwise, I want to see Whedon really let Renner play up his comedy chops. His character in MI4 was a good blend of badass and funny--I know he's got it to be a good Clint

Shoot, i wanna see Ruffalo get his own Hulk movie featuring some Hawkeye, much like we will get a lot of Black Widow in CA:TWS. Its too bad Hawkeye missed it, they can totally make up for it this way.

Yes. I loved his "get in line" retort. And I'd like someone to give Tony Stark a run for his money in the smart ass department, and I think Hawkeye has what it takes.

Just bumping this because I was thinking of his costume. I really want it to be a bit more purple this time. Perhaps like the one in Matt Fraction's run.

I really hope Joss doesn't kill anyone JUST because everyone expects him too.

Hopefully, Whedon will defy expectation by not killing anyone. At this point it's such an expected trope of his that he would shock the audience more by not resorting to it for the millionth time. Finding innovative ways to ratchet up the danger for the heroes short of offing one of them might take more creativity but I'm sure he's got it in him to do it.

I think the easiest way would to have Ultron start nuking cities. That'll be much more dangerous and threatening than "U KILD MUH FWEND!!"
