Where are the best places to buy dressers and stuff online? Is online purchasing even suggested? I'm not sure how important it is to actually see and touch this kinda stuff.

I would actually go to a store:o

IKEA...nice stuff, good prices and good quality, watch for deals on shipping tho.

I'd go to a store, spoons. Things always look different in person.

Figured. I'm always surprised at how "short" most furniture is when you see it in person as opposed to the store. I'm not a giant of a man either lol

You're definitely taking a risk by ordering online, but it also depends on the type of furniture. Watch out for IKEA, though...a lot of the stuff is cheap quality and will break easily. If you go look at it in person, however, you can usually tell which stuff is ok to buy.

You can give it a good kick yeah?

Best to go where you can actually check out the furniture for yourself. If you find a brand/model you like, you can always look it up online and see if you can beat the price (though with the way shipping costs are these days, that might be difficult on larger items like mattresses and bedroom furniture). Oh, and IKEA is crap. Shoddy quality and manufacturing.

SUPER crap. Bland chipboard blandness coated in fake-looking bland arse-vomit.

The McDonalds of home furnishing.

Funny enough, McDonald's products and IKEA products have roughly the same nutritional value (with IKEA getting a slight nod on having more fiber).

Mmmm.

Flat-packed double McChipboard with cheese.

Le drool.

Because of the metric system?

Exactly.

(And that was probably the weakest Pulp Fiction reference I've ever seen, let alone be responsible for. :o )

Say 'jag' again, mother****er.

See, now you don't have to feel so bad :)

First on my to-buy list is actually a TV stand. Need one big/strong enough for my 47"

Don't you want to lie in in, sit on it, touch it, lick it?
