With my massive drop of interest in TV in general 15 years ago and the ongoing reduction of watching channel after channel as I've grown more cynical -
Being Human Just reached out and grabbed me.
This touches all the things that I could be interested in - in regards to Vampires, Werewolves and Ghosts.
The vamps are old-school with the Fred Saberhagen spin,...These guys are not sparkly.
The Werewolves have a story, have purebreds, are not a cast off from Vampires like the Lycan from underworld
The Ghosts are fully explained, you find out that there is a heirarcy, a pyramid of power based on how they die, how long they are ghosts.
Now throw three beings who would rather be human into a house while the flying razor tipped fur ball of where each is coming from tears at them.
I went thru the first season in shock. Normally i get sick watching this sort of stuff - but this was different.
