I'm single but prefer being in a relationship myself. Being single is fun if you are out having a laugh with your mates, meeting new people and hooking up with people.. If your sat moping around wishing for it to happen too much then it does suck. Being single after breaking up with someone can also be hard, especially if you still have feelings for the ex.. but then you know what they say, the best way to get over someone is to get under someone. lol.

Funny. I'm single and I've never "moped around wishing for something to happen to me".

And if my day off happens to fall on a national holiday, I enjoy my day off.

I'm married and have a kid, and while I enjoy the married life, I also miss being a bachelor and being able to do whatever the heck I want anyday of the week. Now it's virtually impossible for me to do the things I want, and my free time is pretty few and far between. So enjoy the bachelor life while you can.

I'm in a relationship but sometimes I wish I was still single. But to be honest, my missus is safe as houses, she doesn't smother me and I don't smother her. We are very independent. If I say I'm having a lads night out, no worries. If she says she is having a girls night out, no worries.
