It used to bother me being single. But let me tell you that I simply don't let it be an issue anymore and I'll tell you why.

I work at a movie theatre, I go to school, and whenever I can I hit the gym as well. In my mind I used to think that whenever I asked a girl out if she said no, it would ultimately mean she was being hateful, or there was something wrong with me as a person. Maybe some of them were being hateful towards me, but not all of them, so I let that build inside of me to the point that I became bitter.

One day a co-worker of mine introduced me to one of his friends and she had the biggest crush on me. But I didn't feel the same way about her. I couldn't bring myself to tell her no because I knew the feeling, the feeling of liking someone so much that you desperately want them to feel the same. Well, I didn't feel the same way and it just weighed heavily on me.

So I had to let her down as easily as I could, at least, it was the best way that I knew how. But on that day I made a decision that I wouldn't feel sad or sorry for myself about being single.

I didn't tell her no or anything, simply due to the fact that I didn't want to hurt her feelings. I would change the subject, not return her calls, or I would answer one of the calls and would still be nice to her, but not nice to where she got the wrong impression. So for me being single used to bother me, however, I enjoy my time and my space as well. My advice is go to a restaurant and hit on some waitresses. I do that from time to time with a couple of my bodybuilding buddies from the gym.

Usually you just let yourself be approachable and just be yourself.

Being married probably does suck. I never want to get married. If I do (long shot of happening) I rather it be...like in Vegas, where it's just the bride and groom and like two witnesses. That's it.

That's what I do. I just go out with friends and we hit on some of the ladies at the mall, go to a restaurant, and so forth. I'm not saying you walk up to some random girl and ask her for sex.

It's from my experience now. You say it's the worst post? Well, from all the waitresses that I hit on I managed to get their numbers and have dated a few of them too. How's that for the worst post in this thread?

Well, not suppose to do it at all when married or seeing someone...can be considered rude. Or just being nice, I guess. But yeah, hitting on waitresses and trying to get their numbers is bad like 95% of the time.

Well consider me the 5% that was successful. I got their numbers and dated a few of them. They're all nice girls and we even made plans to get together to see Saw 6. Sometimes you just have to have confidence in yourself and not be afraid of rejection or afraid of a girl in general.

Maybe that's why Darthphere is bitter or always angry. Who knows.

I have no confidence in myself like 98% of the time with women. And right now I can't date. Maybe I try again in like 4 years. Or however long it takes for me to do community college this spring and transfer to UNC-W. I think it be 4 years total. Christ, I still live at home.

See, this is why the internet is a beautiful thing. You can say you dated 37 hot waitresses and it's probably ******** but there's no way to prove otherwise. Because of this...

Common misconception about me, I'm not bitter and always angry. People on here than know me know this. If there's one thing I lack, it's not confidence. Rejection sucks but not something I'm afraid of. We're all going to be rejected at many points in our lives.

I actually enjoy being single. I mean of course I wish that at any moment Id meet the girl of my dreams and everything but I love the freedom of being single. Plus I like having more than one chick to bang at any given time. Its always nice to have a few booty calls in your back pocket
