Is it any good? I have seen some toy pics and they look cool.

Any views would be greatly helpful.

The problem with it is, every episode is the same......with the exception Ben may get a new Alien transformation ever now and then.

So whats the storeyline?

He transforms into different aliens?

The opening sums it up nicely.

Decent action/adventure show, uses some of the same creative staff as Teen Titans.

one of ben's alter egos ghostfreek was freed from the omnitrix and is now a villian thers a ben 10 movie "secret of the omnitrix" on friday night

Thanks Ron!

So what makes him choose which alien he turns into? Or is it just random?

Dude- http://forums.superherohype.com/showthread.php?t=280565

It's okay though.. Basically he used to be able to control which one he picks, and he usually does.. But sometimes the watch picks them for him.. And he has a certain time-limit that he can stay as those aliens, but if you read that forum^ the "Ben 10,000" episode, was him in the future, and he didn't have time-limit.

Aww k. That black and blue aliean is awesome so is that diamond head guy..

Black and blue? The fast guy?

Well I like Kevin 11. His power (when he was human) was to aborb energy from any source. Well he absorbed it from Ben's watch and he took all of Ben's (original 10) powers and he mutated into a monster with all 10 aliens. (Pic in the other Ben 10 thread.)

I love thease 2 guys.

Yeah the black and blue guy. He uses a faceplate when fighting.

What season is the show in?

Come on people. This show is great. Lets talk about it.

Intresting...

Hero Generation
Cartoon Network has announced that a sequel series of the show with the pending title of Ben 10: Hero Generation that will premiere before spring 2008.[10] The new series will focus on a slightly older Ben and Gwen, who serve as mentors to a younger generation of heroes with powers similar to Ben's Omnitrix-based ones. Though aimed at the same demographic, the series will reportedly address more mature issues than its predecessor.

I read something about that on TV.com...
After the Ben 10,000 episode I saw promise for a new series depicting him as his older self. Hopefully they will have Ben in complete control of the Omnitrix...and they won't deviate from the main stars(Ben, Uncle Max, and Gwen) like they did with Teen Titans.

Very intresting. I hope XLR8 and Diamond head are in the new series.

I was talking with the guys of Man of Action Studios, the creators, at Wizard Con.
originally Ben 10 was meant to be a X-Men idea.
it was going to be this mutant character who switches bodies (not minds) with his alternate reality selfs.
So one alternate reality might have greater gravity or something, he might be squatier and in our world be stronger and jump higher.
But I guess they decided to pitch it as a cartoon idea.

They were told it was too mature for cartoon viewers, so they altered it for kids.
Made Ben a kid, because kids like to relate to their comic characters (Robin, Captain Marvel).
and made the plots and storylines more suited for children as well, and more fun.

You also have to look at it this way, the storylines are made for children so they will never be too complex or grown up.
That also doesn't mean they can't be good. Like revealing Granpa Max's Plumber past and his connection to the Omnitrix, having Ghostfreak turn out to be a bad guy and seperate from the Omnitrix, one time the Omnitrix switched bodies and landed on Granpa Max.
and stuff like that.

I like the show, wouldn't mind working on it somehow. Maybe character designing or something.

Hey, I heard from the character designer of Granpa Max that he is based on Captain Marvel. Thats why he wears a red and orange flower printed hawiian shirt, has thick black eye brows, and curly hair.
I think Grandpa Max is my favorite character.

I pretty much knew and understood that from the begining. But its sad because they could have some decent story arcs with this show, kind of like X-Men: Evolution
......Oh! and I forgot it's "Grandpa" Max not "Uncle" Max.

I don't remember the Omnitrix switching to Max but they did have a "What If' episode about Gwen getting the Omnitrix.

I don't.
I missed most of the episode, all I know is that Gwen got the Omnitrix for one episode and then it jumped off her arm and instead of landing on Ben (like he was hoping) it landed on Grandpa. which is sort of what people would expect, him being a former Plumber and all.

The storylines are kept a little simple for a reason, I mean look a Krypto. The show is still, sometimes, able to do some grown up stuff in their storylines while still keeping it simple.

I would still like to see their original X-Men idea in a comic book. Or maybe Ben could meet a character who does that.

There was that episode where the alien girl that was on the ship that dropped the Omnitrix revealed that the Omnitrix WAS meant for Grandpa Max.
