I could be wrong by saying this but whenever I watch TDK and the end comes when Batman says that he killed those people, couldn't have they just said that The Joker killed Dent and those people??
The joker was caught by the special forces before. We don't know how much time that got passed. Maybe some news report didn't help Bats.

Honestly they'd have had a hell of a time explaining how Joker could possibly have killed Dent, being in police custody with no goons left under his thumb.

nah, i picture this

Me too!!! :D

I want to see Batfleck. This is one thing. But one thing for sure is that none of the three TDKT movies will make me get tired to see them. I never got tired of watch either of them. One of my favorites movies ever.

Yeah because he never killed anyone else while in police custody

:o

Maybe his Bruce Wayne will look like this:

I would be happy with this as Bruce's look. At first when Affleck was cast, I didn't think he had a Bruce vibe, but he does sometimes and this is an example.

20 years from now, everyone I know will say Christian Bale was their Batman.

Well I can already say with confidence that Ben Affleck is my Batman.

Affleck 4 lyfe.

I love Bale as Batman, especially Wayne, but Michael Keaton will always be my Batman!

And just like Batman Begins is representative of Bale at his best, I consider Batman to be the same for Keaton.

Joker's escape from his cell - the cop inside with him doesn't make too much sense. He would have been watching him from outside the cell, from the other side of the mirror-window. :funny:

He has a big Bruce vibe for me.

Since when did we all start bashing TDK in this thread? You can't be serious... It's the best comic book movie of all time.

It's still the best Batman movie. Love it.

I hope Affleck gets a solo outing, but I'm feeling it may be appearances ala BvS.

I love TDK, but prefer Rises over it. Having noted that, TDK is a monument in cinematic history.

TDK is my favorite CBM. It was a true game-changer.

Bale is my favorite batman (so far), but I'm looking forward to Affleck. Despite how much I liked the DKT, there are still aspects of batman I want to see explored more or in different ways. There's always room for a new interpretation.

I get the feeling that one of the conditions of him signing on to do B vs S was that he be given the opportunity to direct AND star in a solo Batman movie and any sequels that may follow. I just have that feeling that there were a LOT of conditions that went into B vs S. That said, I wonder what an Affleck directed Batman movie would be like?

Lately, I've been thinking that WB may decide to skip the solo films and go with a full-fledged Justice League franchise - with Superman as the focal point.

I guess we'll find out soon enough. I think WB is supposed to announce future DC movies pretty soon.

He hasn't signed for solo movies...at least not yet. Still, age aside, I can't see him really wanting or needing to do more Batman past BvS and maybe a JL as his career is at a point where he can do what he wants. And even though the financial rewards would be great, I get the feeing he'd rather do more original stuff without the strings of upholding tentpole properties and such.

You're really Ben Affleck, aren't you?

That's pretty much my thinking too.

It's a bit of an assumption to presume anything at this point. I tend to side with Kal on this issue, I don't think Affleck will be inclined to do multiple films, for now he saw this as an opportunity to be Batman and took it.

I think that Affleck did not want himself to be compared to Bale, so he was interested in Snyder's project, once he knew that this Batman would be set up in a different context (read - part of team-up movies.)

So, multiple team-up movies are on cards, like BvS followed by JL, then again some other team-up movie featuring Batman, followed by JL 2.

Well that's gonna suck big time if Affleck wouldn't be onboard with doing multiple films. Call me pessimistic, but the future of the DC cinematic universe does not look bright at all. :csad:
