You guys seen this?

Interesting, if a bit strange. I'm such a big Batman fan I can't even imagine someone not even watching them once, especially when said person was Batman himself. I wonder why though...I'd actually like to know what he is into.
I guess he sees Batman as just a role he played about 20 years ago. Or maybe he doesn't want to talk about the topic and this is his way of shutting it down.

I think he might be too close to the "Batman thing" to fully enjoy seeing a Batman movie. Or maybe he just doesn't care enough. Maybe he's sick of Batman. Who knows.

I liked Keaton's comment on being asked about how well Ben Affleck will do as Batman.

I know, he's like ''25 years later and I'm still getting asked about this ****, Christ!''.

haha yeah at least he's being honest..

Oh hey look it's Bruce effing Wayne...

Thats a great image for someone to manip into a movie poster! Put a suit on him and some grey in his hair and there ya go- Bruce Wayne!

That's a cracking pic of Batfleck/Brucefleck/Beastfleck.

The grey is still there. It's just more visible in the daytime under certain lighting.

Notice the image below, which was taken in NY while he was promoting Gone Girl.

As said, it may be that Keaton just spends enough time making movies that he isn't really into watching them.

It could also be a case that he simply doesn't have the interest in the character (outside of Burton's vision) that we kinda expect him to have. Burton's take on Batman was quite a unique one and Keaton was so into it that he refused to participate in the lighter version that Schumacher presented when Burton was removed from what would have been his 3rd film, and which became Batman Forever. He probably views the Nolan films (and any future ones) as different entities altogether. And he's right I guess. There's very few elements between Burton's films and something like The Dark Knight asides from the characters. And even they are quite different in many ways.

It's a bit like the comics. There are various Batman comics out there. There's some which I particularly enjoy reading because they're from a favourite writer and/or artist, and there's others which don't register on my radar at all even though they all have the same starring character.

For some, that's just about every title associated with the New 52 line. :cwink:

Yeah, I guess I should have specified grey streaks at the temples like in those blue-vest set photos :woot: But his natural hair would have been fine IMO.

I wonder how he feels about Birdman ..and Robocop, Need for Speed loll

I hope that, for his own sake, he's never subjected himself to sitting through Need for Speed. Good God.
