I'm all for that being the reason batman is angry and wants to take him down. All I'm saying is it's obnoxious and silly when people presume that the drastic action Clark took in the climax of MOS were just for the hell of it and that he didn't feel remorse.I'm not saying what he did to Metropolis he did purposely. What you're saying above poses a very good argument for the film: there will be those who see him as a reckless alien who should own up to his actions and others who believe he had no choice in the matter and had to defeat Zod no matter what the circumstance. Clearly Batman will stand for the former, and thus we have a central conflict
I was against Ben Affleck being cast, I doubted he could blend into the role.
But he was the best thing about the trailer.

He made the trailer, and I feel like he's going to make the movie as well. WW was cool, but Superman, Lex, and the others were pretty unremarkable.
What do you guys think he's doing in the desert?
