Nothing wrong with that. I just think what we heard of him in that scene gives a good indication of what he'll sound like as Batman throughout the entire course of the film -- modulated voice or not.

Same here. I really liked the smug exchange with Clark. I have to say, of all the footage of BvS we've seen so far, this new trailer was my least favorite. Could be the way it was edited. Who knows. Needless to say, I hope the movie feels and flows more like the teaser trailer than this one.

Agreed. I think this one was designed more for "the masses", so to speak. A little lighter and more action packed, as is usually the case for the later/final trailers of these big films. It will be the same for Civil War once they release their later trailers filled with clips and revealing money shots.

Theme and tone wise, this new one didn't feel consistent. But yea, it had a few good moments. I liked Bruce, Clark, Lex and Wonder Woman looked great.

Yeah, it didn't, and I think that it's as TheShape said, it was made to showcase the characters and the film more to the general audience.

Lex is, as I said, a bit too hammy for my taste. But I'm not writting him off yet.

As a matter of fact, it's pretty close to what I was hopping for if they went for modulated voice (wanting a natural one primarily) - more deeper than growly. I'm really starting to like it.

It certainly does take some time to get adjusted, especially if you wanted a natural voice, like, I assure you, I did as well.

I think my favorite example of the voice so far is the "Tell me, do you bleed?" line. The voice really works when he's booming, but I feel that the quieter lines are going to sound really weird.

It does sound more guttural than growly, so that's good.

I absolutely understand your complaints. But I loved what he said to Lois after she called him psychotic, "That is a three syllable word for any thought too big for little minds."
