The toys make it look light grey.

I don't know that I'd characterized Val Kilmer's Batman as "campy." He was actually pretty serious overall.
Speaking of toys

Affleck's voice has the potential to be better, but for right now, I have to give Keaton the edge.

Not gonna lie: I typically have a hard time taking complaints about Bale's voice seriously. It got a little worse after BB, but it wasn't even half as bad as a lot of people would have you believe.
And he might be able to turn the voice modulation off when the situation does not deem it necessary.I like what I heard of Ben's Batvoice, and the slight modulation will benefit him in the sense that his voice will almost certainly not have any of the same issues that Bale's had. It will be consistent, easier to understand, and it will allow Ben to speak naturally in normal voice when acting as Batman. The modulation will then give it that deeper, rougher edge, but nothing of Ben's performance will have been sacrificed because he won't be forced to keep up any kind of ridiculous voice that's unnatural to him or requires unnecessary effort. His voice will also carry a wider range of tones and inflections that will all come from Ben, but just tweaked.
I'm excited to hear more of it.
Bale's Batvoice really wasn't bad at all, and was even great at times throughout the trilogy -- even in TDK and TDKR. People seriously exaggerate when they go on about how awful it was.
Still, it did have have its fair share of noticeable problems. For one, it was jarringly inconsistent at times, sometimes even making it difficult to understand him. Beyond that, it forced Bale to speak in a way that was completely unnatural for him and required more effort on his part than was truly necessary. Many times, the typical vocal tones and inflections that could have been found in his voice were lost to give way to his forced, gravely voice that even sounded monotone sometimes.
