I just came across the following manip on someone's Instagram page. Pretty cool.

"I know what’s it's like to be in the suit," says Affleck, pondering the notion at the Beverly Hilton. "We’ll have to modify the suit to make it a little bit easier to put on and take off. When you are in it, you can be sweating, crazy and exhausted, do your part and walk away. But when you’re a director, you can’t walk away. You have to be there for everybody.
"Chief among the challenges of doing Batman, will be finding a suit that’s more comfortable," he says.
I'm starting to think he's messing with people.
Slimmer batsuit please.![]()
Funnily enough, I've literally just finished re-watching The Town. Damn, Affleck looked great there. No wonder that manip of him with the bat-symbol on his t-shirt is taken from that movie.

So they could make a suit that's so comfortable to wear, that Ben decides to wear it all the time while directing at the set.
Batman directing his own movie, wow.
I liked Live By Night.
I actually prefer it to Argo.
Stop hyping me up mayne.I liked Live By Night.

I'm listening to the Batman on Film podcast with Mark Hughes podcast and and it's a great conversation, there's one part where Hughes says "Hey fans, one way to guarantee he will NOT direct The Batman is to keep bothering the guy about!" It really does make you think though, Affleck's gotta be under tremendous pressure, man. Doing BvS, having the movie be critically panned, going right into JL with a ton of pressure, The Accountant getting mixed reception, his passion project being critically panned, and all journalists wanna know is when is he getting behind the camera to film himself in the Batsuit. I really could not blame the guy if he walked away from directing the thing.

Ben Affleck was at french TV, live, a few minutes ago for "Live by Night".
After a fast resume of his career, he had a small talk with a journalist about his new movie and how this one pays tribute to the old hollywood. The discussion continued briefly around the fact that one of his predilection themes was legacy and how he likes to use his hometown Boston in his work.
At the end, the interviewer asked him if, putting Batman aside, he had already an idea for his next film. The actor replied, with a smile, that the next step will be indeed Batman.
