JW if you still want it gone despite the apparent reason of it being there as a message to Batman? The damaged tattoo is the one most dislike so I say that one can disappear. But there is also another one under his left eye which looks like a tear drop and it really bugs me.

I don't mind the J, that is the one you are referring to right?

The tattoos are a huge part of his appeal to the GA and his defining feature to them as much as Ledger's facial scar was.

I think from a "selling point" WB would want to keep them.

Them keeping the grill would be enough IMO.

I'd really like them to trade out the steel grills for gold ones in future movies. I mean, it's gaudier and it fits the aesthetic of Joker having yellow teeth all the time. Seems like a missed opportunity.

This reminds me, I think we can all agree that the warehouse scene is the greatest Batman fighting scene ever; what I find really funny, is how the "goons" keep coming back. We've seen in the past, previous Batmen knocking goons with one punch and being done with them, while here, we have the most imposing, beastly Batman we've ever had smashing these guys faces...and they would get up and keep on fighting.

I think it goes to say that these guys are really tough guys...and maybe it's a little more realistic for these trained mercenaries to keep getting up after being repeatedly punched in the face by the Mike Tyson equivalent, I guess...?? I really don't know, it's been a while since I've been in a multi-mercenaries-warehouse-fight

Just a random thought....

Yeah I love that they didn't go down by one punch. These guys weren't just waiting around for Batman to punch them.

What I find funny is that, if you look at the gif above, this DOES look like the kinda punch that would knock someone out, specially a few of those, ya know? I'm mostly surprised that those guys didn't have their faces all messed up but yeah, they were obviously trained, skilled fighters.

But yeah, it is something that slightly bothered me... after some of the punches Bats landed on them, you wouldn't expect them to brush them off so easily. Actually, you wouldn't expect them to get up on their own. I'd rather if they introduced more mercenaries mid-fight then have the same ones get up and keep fighting.

Those punches didn't look like they lacked oopmh. If he missed me, I'd probably still be knocked by the shockwave.

I just thought there were thay many of them...there were a couple that he just hit in their lower body that came back for more, but I don't remember any that he hit cleanly in the head getting up

I'll need to rewatch it (with pleasure, if I might add), but I'm pretty sure one of them gets up three times after getting some nasty hits I would expect to take him out of the fight immediately.

Again, it's just a nitpick on my part, and the only "issue" I have with something I otherwise see as a glorious display of Bats' skill and brutality in hand-to-hand combat. Yup, I need to rewatch it.

Yeah, I mean, it's really just a nitpick; as I said, if anything it only goes to show how BAMF's these guys are since they keep coming back...while also showing how incredibly BAMF Bats is, since he's moping the floor with them.

Yeah I mean, these guys aren't low level thugs. These are mercenaries and some of the best of the best. I'd imagine they could take a few hits, even from Batman. This ain't One-Punch Man lol.

I understand one doesn't want to only work on Batman for a good portion of their life, but why take the role if it seems Affleck has had enough of this comic book stuff? He seems annoyed by the pressure and is tired already of it. No one is forcing him to be Batman.

I don't think he expected the whole universe to slowly implode on itself like it has for the past year. I believe he intended to be a part of something grand and appreciated, in part to atone for Daredevil. Things didn't go as planned.

It isn't annoyance, it is the amount of work and time both roles take up that would crowd the other and reduce overall quality so outlining the broadstrokes with a trusted partner is better so he can focus completely on one side of it.
