Have any of you guys ever been part of a collaborative creative process?? (not trying to start anything, I'm honestly asking) I have. Sometimes you divide tasks based on personal interested and level of expertise; sometimes one person takes on several aspects of the overall task and at a certain point that person goes like "Woah...ok, this is way much more than I thought it would be; maybe trying to spin all these hats is too much for me alone; hey, Jeff! You mind taking care of this thing over here so I can focus on this other one?? Thanks buddy!" t:

I'm not saying that's what happened, I'm not saying that I have any idea of what the ins and outs of making a Hollywood blockbuster are like (NONE of us here do, and those who go like "obviously this is happening" every other post need to get their heads out of their a$$es); what I'm saying is, that respectable actor/director worth their salt know that what REALLY matters is the final product, the story/play/movie/etc; and sometimes that means acknowledging that you're not the right person for a specific job; these huge projects are made in collaboration between artists, not everything has to be studio/business drama.

Any speculation we are having here is just that pure speculation, no one knows his actual reasons for stepping down as director but the man gave an explanation in his statement. If he leaves altogether then maybe we can say he was ********ting us but he hasn't left altogether.

Ah, the tribulations of being a member of the Zach Snyder fan club. Luckily this site is ultimately about the characters, not the directors or the studios, so your frustrations aren't really anyone's problem but your own. When WB/DC and a director not named Nolan finally produces a film worthy of the source material, perhaps the Hype will become the good feels safe haven you clearly need it to be. Until then, and as long as proficient hacks like Snyder have creative control, you're SOL.
