Indeed.

They're telling us to ignore the fact Affleck tweeted to welcome Reeves on board, and to instead hold on to a vibe that they're actually lying and Affleck won't reprise the role again.

People have a genuine reason to not believe him here. In fact for all of those trying to stick it Collider or whoever just keep in mind you were misled once by Affleck already. People are free to believe whomever they want, but lets not make out Affleck hasn't played a part in people not taking him at his word.

Also collider were just schooled by Ryan Reynolds yesterday and now by Ben Affleck and co. Cool.

I think we will get some news about Flash movie soon.

Also, it would be better if WB finally announces what are their "phase - 2" movies.

Phase 2? Phase 2? (Have Jim Mora's voice in your head while reading.)

And, how many times have Collider mislead people ?

Misled or were misinformed? There's a difference between getting information that turns out to be wrong, and purposely trying to deceive people.

Reporting rumors is misleading people.

Regardless everything points to Affleck doing this movie now, so there is no point in talking about this now. Campea was wrong, it happens. Moving on...

Do you guys think we might see Nightwing in this movie?

You wouldn't get any movie news if journalists didn't have sources with information.

If they post a report citing their "sources" and add a disclaimer that it's not confirmed then it's OK, but to post a rumor without providing any sources and a disclaimer that their "news" is not confirmed officially is misleading people. And, I see that happening frequently.

And you can choose to ignore it if you wish.

Absolutely. They're nothing but opinion pieces masquerading as news.

Then people should treat it as such.

We do. That's what we're saying. Then the sheep media repost the same 'story', fuelling that doom and gloom narrative.

People need to stop pretending they are children, and take responsibility for how they react to speculation, and what they choose to believe as fact or fiction based on that speculation. Just my opinion.

At this point, rumors or not, I'm crossing my fingers this thing will happen and that the train will run smoothly. WB is a very reactive studio, and often reacts out of fear as opposed to keeping a steady course. I could totally see things going sideways if WW and/or JLA don't work out very well.

For now , Reeves and Affleck seemingly confirming he's staying on the project is a positive sign However this is WB, and we haven't yet seen how they'll react to adversity if WW and JL get a BvS type reception.

The problem now days is that too many of these "journalists" don't really care what's the truth, they care about the clicks and controlling the narrative.

It's a slippery slope saying it's the solely the readers' fault as if the media has no responsibility.

My thing is after a while people should know what sources deliver real scoops. I mean Variety, THR, and The Wrap are the big dogs. Then, you've got your hit and miss but still somewhat credible sites like Collider. Hitfix, and some others. Then, you've got garbage sites like Cosmic Book News or whatever. It's not that hard to figure out after some experience.

The media has a responsibility to report things in the right context. If something is worded as fact and it's speculation that's where responsibility comes in. However, sites shouldn't have to stop posting rumors just because some rag posts it on their site as fact, and some mark buys into it as fact as a result. You are never going to stop hack sites from running with rumors as fact..

For fans who want DCEU to do well, without any personal pride getting hurt if something positive happens, let's bask in the positivity today, because tomorrow, some other s*** will happen, and we will be back to the same old cycle.

You're right.

I'm still on my Nightwing high and don't see myself coming down from it any time soon

jmc ain't wrong guys.

Personally, with Reeves all in, I don't think he signs on the dotted line if he has an inkling that Affleck is leaving. But caution. I still think EVERYTHING depends on WW and JL critically for things to stay as they are for Affleck and the DCEU.

I know yesterday was a wonderful day but again; caution. Not out of the woods yet.
