Bruce's physical age is unrelated to the story they were telling.
BATGOD is super boring. Seems like some people are happy with that. Not this guy. The point of Batman is not to just be vulnerable when around monsters and aliens.
Just a question, how old is that Tom Brady guy who just won his fifth championship?
How old was David Ortiz when he spanked the pitchers around the park last season?
And Usain Bolt just mauled down how many runners 10 years younger than him in Rio?
Then there were Randy Johnson and Curt Schilling
Again, they don't do what Bruce does every night in his fictional world.Just a question, how old is that Tom Brady guy who just won his fifth championship?

Exactly. I'm not just going out of my way to crap on everything this universe has to offer, because I feel like they nailed Supermans level of power. Batman is fine for the most part but it takes me out of the film when I see Batman having 3 huge fights without ant breathing room, moving around like a champ each time and taking bullets to tbe head (and just grunting it off). Everytime I see a clip from the warehouse scene (one of the scenes I still like from the movie), I just think "BATGOD". Writers usually do this so he can match the heroes around him or even the fantastical villains. He struggled with Doomsday but he was incredibly quick, never seemed out of breath. I liked that he didn't do much damage and was running away. But there's also times when they could written in a scene where he was useful on a non-physical level.I agree with that, I don't mind him been the smartest guy in the room but he seems to have contingencies for everything in some versions (Batman in the DCAU got ridiculous by the end). It's like when they made Superman too powerful in the pre crisis days, it just gets boring. You make them unstoppable and you are unable to create any tension whatsoever. Sure we know the hero will win by the end but you need to go through some drama before you get to that point.
Also, John Cena is 40 years-old and recently won his 16th World Championship.
That does seem a little farfetched, but in all honesty I'd expect some writer to give Batman that same type of ability.
Lol, Pro wrestling is not a legit sport. Cena did not earn those championships by being better than anyone else. He is playing a role, and the company hands him a fake championship as part of playing that role.
Just wait till Batman encounters Swamp Thing and drenches him in Weed-B-Gone.
I agree with you that it's an irrelevant comparison to make. But in reality, it is a legit sport, it's just that it's scripted. They're still athletes/entertainers. And the reason why a character/talent is given the title by the company is because the company believes that the person earned the spot to carry the company on his or her shoulders (as well as for storyline purposes but it's mainly to do with what I said). So you can say that Cena "earned" it. In Vince McMahon's eyes anyway, which is debatable lol.Lol, Pro wrestling is not a legit sport. Has Bats ever met Swamp thing?
If this were realistic Batman would've been in jail already. It's inherently fantastical.
Yeah I ain't t reading these walls of text. Batman is physically a beast. It's never depicted otherwise. Not worth arguing about.
Again, they don't do what Bruce does every night in his fictional world.

lol I like how some are arguing the realistic nature of a fictional character...

So one major thing is unrealistic, so everything else must not have common sense or reality? That's always such a lazy defense. What's next, wellll nobody would dress as a bat sooooo..we can dismiss everything else!
Why are you insisting on not reading properly? I never said he's too old to fight. I said they should show him struggling a little bit.He can fight space aliens, werewolves, mutants, and metahumans. But fighting at 45 is where the line is drawn. Never mind that George Foreman won the title back as an old ass man or that Bernard Hopkins was unbeatable at around 40 years old.
Not only is Batman fictional, but he traveled the globe for 7 years picking up more than 120 different martial arts and techniques from the greatest masters alive.
He's 45 so he can't fight anymore.
