V all the way

terrible casting and a bad ending undo Watchmen's good points (which are primarily visual)

I voted for V for Vendetta. While Watchmen is much more faithful to its source material, V for Vendetta is a much better movie.

Definitely V for Vendetta. Though I like Watchmen a lot too. And League was enjoyable to watch when it came out, though I know it wasn't a very good film.

Don't remember seeing From Hell.

Can't wait for The Killing Joke!

I didn't hate From Hell as a movie

but from what I understand it is about as far away from the source material as possible

I liked V For Vendetta, but I've never felt compelled to watch it again since I saw it in theaters ten years ago. I prefer Watchmen. It might be because I've always preferred the graphic novel of Watchmen over V For Vendetta and the movie didn't stray as far from the source material as V did. One thing I'll say about both films is that for all their faults, they're both propelled by great performances: Hugo Weaving as V and Jackie Earle Haley as Rorschach.

The Killing Joke could be the first perfect Alan Moore adaptation. I'll keep my fingers crossed.

V for Vendetta is the best, although I do like Watchmen too.

From Hell is also pretty cool. Haven't seen it in awhile but will probably rewatch it soon.
