And, honestly, who would actually believe that status? Who comes out in a FB status?

You just post another status after that one that says something along the lines of, "Ok, so apparently the employees of Best Buy will post false statuses on your FB if you leave it open on your phone. Good to know."

This. I see the "I'm gay" status from people I have on Facebook all the time, that practically says "I forgot to log out and someone else got a hold of it and wrote this".
