Best CBM of 2022

Morbius.

No, I think its between The Batman and Wakanda Forever. Both have great directions, but I would give Batman the favour here. Also, Batman destroys WF in terms of cinematography.
On the other hand, Wakanda Forever has the more interesting villain and a better conflict in general. Was anyone in shock with the reveal of corrupt Cops? Come on, show me something new.. While both have some minor pacing issues, the dealbraker are the performances. While Pattinson and Zoe are fine, Wright and Bassett are outstanding imo.

 

Well, no, but that was hardly the twist of The Batman.

 

The Batman easily. Wakanda Forever isn't too far behind it though.

 

I haven't seen Black Adam, is there a chance it could be the best ?

 

It's a toss up between Wakanda Forever and The Batman. I need to watch the former one more time before I can make a decision between the two.

 

That is not even included in the poll.

I voted for Wakanda Forever which was just okay. I didn't really love any of the cbms that came out this year.

 

The Batman and it's not even close.

All three Marvel films were bad.

 

What about Black Adam? Was it good for you?

The Batman gets my vote for best. Thor: Love & Thunder would be my number 2 for personal choice, but I think Black Panther Wakanda Forever may be the objectively better movie

 

The Batman and Wakanda Forever may be technically better movies, but I enjoyed Thor 4 the most this year. Still really enjoyed The Batman, though.

 

I enjoyed Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness the most this year.

The Batman put me to sleep.

Though Morbius is the worst cbm of 2022.

I haven't seen Black Adam.

Werewolf By Night whilst not a movie would be right up there as well.

 

I dislike Multiverse of Madness, started watching Love & Thunder and couldn't get through it, Black Adam was pretty bad and haven't watched Wakanda Forever yet, though I don't particularly care about it anyway. The Batman has no real competition in my book. Not a great year for superhero films.

 

Weak year. Toss up between The Batman, Wakanda Forever and Multiverse of Madness, but I don't rate any too highly. Voted Strange because it was the most fun for me.

 

It is a weak year compare to 2017, 2018, 2019 and 2021.

But stronger than 2020.

What a mixed bag of a year. Four movies I didn't like, one I barely like, and maybe the best comic book movie ever saving the year from being a near total misfire.

I did not expect my favorite Marvel of the year to be She-Hulk.
