I agree. The VFX hold up to day . And it's strange that these FX look so much better then the stuff on JP 2 and JP 3 despite the fact that the technology and animation improved.

I enjoyed the movie for the most part, and the desert sequence was really awesome and looked great. To this day, though, I'm saddened whenever I think of the storyboard sequences in the videogame that showed what Ang Lee was planning to put in the desert scene if he had had more money, and how much more badass it was going to be.
