Post here images or videos of even simply name the CGI sequences that wow you even today , regardless of how the movie itself was ( meaning it could be a totally crappy movie or a super duper awesome movie :P).

I'll start :
As a Matrix Fan Obviously :oldrazz:

Final Fantasy: Advent Children.
The style, the flair, animation quality are all incredible. (and I even love the story and voice acting)

Nothing beats this:

I agree. The VFX hold up to day . And it's strange that these FX look so much better then the stuff on JP 2 and JP 3 despite the fact that the technology and animation improved.

Bwhaha :)

Some of the matrix stuff looked abit crap to me

Constantine Was good

and im expecting Spider-man3 to blow my mind!

I enjoyed the movie for the most part, and the desert sequence was really awesome and looked great. To this day, though, I'm saddened whenever I think of the storyboard sequences in the videogame that showed what Ang Lee was planning to put in the desert scene if he had had more money, and how much more badass it was going to be. :csad:

2 films quickly come to mind:

1 - POTC:Curse of the Black Pearl
2 - POTC:Dead Man's Chest

'nuff said:cwink:

the CGI sequences in Apocalypto, Blade Runner and 1492 the Ridley Scott Columbus film I thought were expertly whielded and set into play

Hmm a thread named Best CGI Sequence that wow you to this day by a poster named matrix ghost with pics of the Matrix Trilogy in his posts.

I'm going to run over to JAL's Best Hollywood Actress that wows you to this day. I know I'm going to be AS surprised as to who he choses.

Their hearts were in the right place with the first one.

Anything from batman begins, pirates 2, spider-man, star wars, and the matrix movies always makes my jaw drop.

Jurassic Park, Forrest Gump, and T2. It's sad that no current movie comes close in quality.

Forrest Gump????

im a big fan of the CGI in spiderman 2, V for Vendetta, POTC 1 and 2, and Superman Returns plane scene

The final swing in the first Spider-Man is one of the greatest visual effects sequeneces in the history of time and space.
