I loved This Is the End, but it definitely works better when you see it with a large group of friends (because it definitely wasn't as funny watching alone). Did you see it with some friends at least when you saw it?

Nope, saw it alone. I found the movie wanted to be self-ironic, but most of the time came across as self-indulging. Humor felt awfully Scary Movie-esque at times – crude without finesse.

Back to the topic at hand; now I've seen The Wolf of Wall Street and I'm making that one my third nomination in this category. Black comedy greatness is what it was.
