Alright for those of you who collect DC figures what are the best version of each character?I want to build a decent DC collection but they have so many versions out its hard to keep track. So if you guys can be helpful I'd be thankful.Pics and links would help.I need to know for the following characters

Batman
Robin
Nightwing
Joker
Two Face
Riddler
Scarecrow
Ra's Al Ghul
Green Arrow
Deathstroke
Superman
Green Lantern{Hal Jordan}

That's all for now.Thanks again.

Is highly articulated what you are looking for??

Well I know they don't have marvel legends type with over 30 points of articulation but yea that be nice. Also if they have really good sculpts that look cool.

OK, well as far as the Batman stuff goes you'll probably want to get some of the DCSH (DC Super Heroes) line. They're articulated figures that have some nice to decent sculpts. The newet Batman is great IMO, the Robin is a re-release of teh old Mattel Batman line's Robin, there's no Nightwing as of yet but he'll come eventually down the line. Joker, Two-Face and Riddler have yet to be made but there are prototypes of Two-Face (and I think Joker) so they're coming. Scarecrow was released in the first wave, he's cool and moderately articulated. No sign or word of a Ra's Al Ghul yet but they've made Bane, Killer Croc (both in the first series) and the Mr Freeze (nice figure).

The DCSH line only has licensing to do Batman and Superman characters so Green Arrow, Deathstroke and Green Lantern but there's good versions of those made by DC Direct.

What versions of DC Direct do you recommend for Green Arrow,Deathstroke and Hal Jordan?

Deathstroke only has one. its in the Contemporary Teen Titans line, second wave I think. He's great, I have one. He'll be pricey though, he's the most sought after from that line. The Green Arrow thats best is the one from the Justice line BUT (and this is a big BUT) he's too damn big. He's about 7" tall while everyone else is in 6 inch scale. So he looks great but is too tall. So the one you should go with is the one from the Identity Crisis line. Not sure what wave he was in but he's in there. The best Hal Jordan for your money is from series 1 of the Green Lantern line. It was him, Black Hand, Kilowog, Parallax and a Ganthet/Guardian 2-pack. All great figures (Kilowog is a beast!!) but for your money its the best Hal Jordan and he has decent articulation but scultpwise is fantastic.

Thanks you have been very helpful.I'm going to look into those right now.If you have links that be great.

DC Direct has their own site. And even from there its split into categories so you'll be able to look through nothing but figures. If you want just DC Direct I'd say get the 3 I mentioned (Deathstroke from Contemporary Teen Titans, Green Arrow from Identity Crisis and Green Lantern from the Green Lantern line) also look at the BAtman: Hush figures. They have a damn cool Batman plus many villains like Riddler, Joker, Ra's Al Ghul, Sacrecrow and Poison Ivy. They also have a Catwoman and Nightwing that're kickass. Then for Mr Freeze you could get the one from the Secret Files: Rogues Gallery line by DC Direct. That first wave has Freeze, Penguin, Man-Bat, Killer Croc (awesome fig), and Black Mask, a newer Batman foe. And the biggest Bane for your buck is from the Batman: Knightfall line. Check'em out.

So ok I've done some research and As of right down like

Identity crisis Green Arrow
Batman And Son Batman
Batman And Son Joker
Hush Riddler
Hush Nightwing
Green Lantern series Hal Jordan

I can't decide between Hush or DCSH Scarecrow.

I didn't Like
JL Superman
Batman and Son Robin

The teen titans series isn't on DC direct website.

The DCSH Scarecrow does suck but he's poseable and has a big scythe. The Hush Scarecrow looks badass but is relatively staction. The DCSH line has a great Supes aswell but the JLA Supes is bigger and Supes is bigger than most. The Contemporary Teen Titans line is on there, they have old as stuff on there. Lemme find it for you.

You mivght have looked at the wrong JLA Superman....did you look at the Justice Leage of America Superman or the Justice League Superman?

As a matter of fact I did see the wrong Supes.:csad: I saw the Alex Ross one. That one is very cool and fits what I want from a Superman figure.Deathstroke looks ok but since it's the only one...Btw which is better that Robin or the one from DCSH?Also do you guys have a link to the DCSH Two Face?Again thanks for everything.
